Camping has come a long way. Where it was once all about pitching your own tent and hoping for the best, it’s now a far more luxurious pursuit. Our picturesque site is located in the heart of Somerset’s glorious Mendip Hills, and gives guests the choice of two types of deluxe accommodation.
We are proud to accommodate couples, families and groups seeking a breathtaking alternative to traditional staycations. But whoever you spend your stay with, you’re guaranteed a trip to remember.
Safari Tent
The spectacular safari tent has all of the bells and whistles you’d expect from a boutique camping location. Sleeping up to 6 people, it is perfect for family camping holidays, and includes both fluffy feather duvets and crisp white sheets for a great night’s sleep.
A big advantage of the safari tent is that it is completely self-contained. It features solar-powered lights, hot water, a shower and a toilet, so there’s no need to cross the campsite in the dark. And whether you want to lose yourself in a good book or explore the dazzling Somerset countryside during your holiday, you have the freedom to do exactly as you please.
Tree Tent Boutique Camping
Boasting jaw-dropping views of the Mendips are our wonderful tree tent options. These magical spherical structures are suspended above the ground and exquisitely furnished, with a double bed, solar-powered LED lighting and access to a wood burning stove to ensure enjoyment and comfort for up to two people.
Just a rope bridge walk away from them is a kitted out kitchen, a private hot shower and a fully working toilet to complete your home away from home. The only thing you’ll need to remember to bring is a sleeping bag as bedding is not provided.
Is There Anything Else I Need To Know?
At Pennard Hill Farm, it is our mission to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For this reason, we are proud to offer free use of our heated indoor pool as part of all our glamping packages. Firewood, kindling and firelighters are also provided for use with the fire pit. Just remember to bring plenty of food. Kids (big and small) will love toasting marshmallows!
Thanks to our fairytale setting and close proximity to Glastonbury, we also regularly play host to weddings and festival goers. We’d be more than happy to work with you to find the perfect solution for your requirements.
As a general rule, all glamping accommodation requires a minimum two-night stay. We are willing to take bookings from stag and hen dos, but do ask that you supply a damage deposit in addition to your payment.
