Come and join us on the farm for supper
Our set menu farm feasts are a celebration of the current season here on the farm, alongside some of our wonderful sustainably-minded farming neighbours.
There will be plenty of food, with the main event being meat cooked over the open fire, with greens and vegetables either fresh or preserved from our garden, picked from the wild or grown very locally to us. The menus are curated a few days before the feast so we can make use of the produce that is the very best at that time.
How it works...
A relaxed three course menu is served to your entire party, with a mix of plated and sharing dishes. Supper will be served at 7.45pm, however, between 6.30pm and 7.15pm you can also join us for a selection of small plate appetisers, available to purchase on the night. Perhaps a plate of Mangalitza charcuterie or some smoked Herdwick mutton croquettes, these small plates are perfect with an aperitif from our well stocked bar.
Please note you will need to arrive before 7.15pm to order any small plates.
Relax, have a drink and stay for breakfast…
If you would like to stay with us, we also have stay and dine packages, where you can wake up to the peace of the farm and make your way back to the open fire of the feasting barn for a long and leisurely breakfast.
There will be a farm table with our famous granola, stewed fruit and yoghurt from our friends down the hill at Brown Cow Organics. The apple juice is pressed and the coffee is roasted just down the road, with sourdough and autumn fruit compote.
A set hot breakfast will follow, with bacon and sausage from our Mangalitza pigs, and fresh farm eggs to boot!
